Mike Davison -Executive/Senior Producer at:
Innocean Worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather, NW Ayer, FCB, Hal Riney & Partners, Suissa Miller, Dentsu

I am a producer of anything marketing related with a winning combo of agency and high end line production experience for approx 10+ years. Capable of smoothly executing any combination of multi-purpose media within one project. From Integrated branding spots w/multiple clients, broadcast, corporate video, print photography to network promos, social media, radio – all of the above?

Whatever complex combo you need, the first thing I do is listen.  I try to absorb as much specific info from team/client, so I can clearly wrap my head around the project creative scope in order to help drive it thru to post production completion and delivery.  On budget and on time, of course.  Knowing where to spend money in order to get the most out of any budget is critical to success.

I LOVE to prep.  I enjoy the imaginative, passionate conversations with creative teams. I like having my mind blown and involvement in creative brain storming.  I creatively collaborate with my team to present as many creative choices and options that I can and maybe even a few good work-arounds.  All details of which have or will be meticulously thought thru, researched, assessed, priced out, agents and artist talent engaged, etc.  Next is a precisely laid out logistics plan of attack compiled into an early rough; but accurate budget and completion timeline.  Now we just need to get the client excited!

Being naturally friendly, forthright but respectful to all usually results in getting the most out of people and good vibes all around.  I can offer creative taste without stepping on the toes of the actual creatives while keeping client perspective represented.  I am comfortable client facing and trust building by showing them their project is in solid hands. I give support staff/crew the tools they need to do their best job - and then I can be as demanding as I need to be.

Competence, calm and a silly sense of humor is a given; in addition to being a critical thinker and problem solver always considering 4 steps ahead, precision organization, ninja of multi-tasking and an expert communicator (in all forms). It's good when problems can be averted before they are one.
